Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 Hershey’s Kisses

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg, food coloring, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  6. Form the cookie dough into balls and place them in the air fryer basket lined with parchment paper, making sure to leave space between each ball.
  7. Air fry the cookies for 8-10 minutes or until they are set but still soft.
  8. Remove the cookies from the air fryer and immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.

  • For best results, let the cookies cool slightly before transferring them to a wire rack.
