  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 12 peanut butter candies

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, cream together sugar, brown sugar, and butter.
  3. Add egg, milk, vanilla extract, and food coloring to the butter mixture and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  6. Shape the dough into small balls and place them in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 5-7 minutes.
  8. Immediately press a peanut butter candy into the center of each cookie after removing from the air fryer.

Notes

  • For a softer cookie, reduce the cooking time by a minute.
  • Try using different flavored candies for a unique twist.
