Cheesecake Eggrolls – Crispy, Creamy & Irresistible

Ingredients

  • 1 package eggroll wrappers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Beat until smooth.
  2. Place approximately two tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each eggroll wrapper.
  3. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll tightly, sealing the ends with water.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the eggrolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Sprinkle the fried eggrolls with powdered sugar and cinnamon before serving.

Notes

  • Experiment with different fillings like fruit or chocolate for variety.
  • Serve with fruit compote or chocolate sauce for dipping.
