Deliciously cheesy zucchini rounds topped with turkey bacon, perfect for a quick appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the zucchinis into 1/4-inch rounds.
  3. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Toss the zucchini rounds in the mixture until well coated.
  5. Arrange the zucchini slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and crumbled turkey bacon on top of each zucchini round.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
