Delicious cherry pie bars that are easy to make and a family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter and vanilla extract, mixing until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  5. Spread the cherry pie filling over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
