- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, and sugar until crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Spread the cherry pie filling over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the cherry filling.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of salt to the crust mixture.
