- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the granulated sugar and melted butter until well combined. Add in eggs and vanilla extract, and continue mixing.
- Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top, then dollop the remaining brownie batter over.
- Swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before serving.
