  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions.
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Finally, add the shredded chicken and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Simmer for a few minutes to let the flavors meld.

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, add more cheese or reduce the amount of broth.
