  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture.
  6. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish, then top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like basil or parsley.
  • Can substitute ground beef with turkey or a meat alternative.
