- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix well.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the beef and rice mixture.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
