Ingredients

  • 6 cups bread cubes
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes and milk; let soak for 15 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the soaked bread and gently fold in the raisins.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until set.

Notes
