- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon flavor extract (e.g., vanilla, peppermint)

- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt. Stir until dissolved.
