  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, garam masala, cumin, turmeric, cayenne, and salt. Add chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the marinated chicken and cook until browned.
  5. Add cream and lemon juice, simmer for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Serve with rice or naan.
