Indulge in this creamy and savory Reuben dip served in a crispy rye bread bowl, featuring turkey bacon for a delicious twist!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup diced turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup chopped sauerkraut
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 round rye bread loaf

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, Swiss cheese, turkey bacon, sauerkraut, green onions, and dijon mustard. Mix until well combined.
  3. Cut the top off the rye bread loaf and hollow out the insides to create a bowl.
  4. Fill the rye bread bowl with the Reuben dip mixture.
  5. Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and the bread is golden brown.
  6. Serve with the bread you removed, cut into cubes for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the dip mixture.
  • Feel free to use regular bacon if you don’t have turkey bacon on hand.
