- 4 cups sliced potatoes
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the turkey bacon and half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers.
- In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and thyme. Pour over the layered potatoes.
- Dot with butter.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
