  • 4 cups sliced potatoes
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the turkey bacon and half of the cheese.
  3. Repeat the layers.
  4. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and thyme. Pour over the layered potatoes.
  5. Dot with butter.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
