A delicious and easy recipe for making juicy chicken pitas with a herby ranch sauce.

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup cucumbers, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss the chicken in the seasoning mixture until well coated.
  4. Spread the chicken on a sheet pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked.
  5. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  6. Spread ranch dressing on the pita breads.
  7. Add sliced chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced cucumbers on top of the ranch dressing.
  8. Fold the pitas in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add hot sauce to the ranch dressing.
  • Feel free to customize the veggies based on what you have on hand.
