- 4 pounds whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup pitted prunes
- 1 cup green olives
- 1/2 cup capers
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- In a slow cooker, place the chicken pieces at the bottom.
- Add prunes, olives, and capers over the chicken.
- In a bowl, mix together the vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken and ingredients in the slow cooker.
