An easy and delicious recipe for chicken parmesan meatballs made in a slow cooker, perfect for a comforting meal.

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs, coating them evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and cover until melted.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
  • Serve with pasta or on a sub roll for a meatball sandwich.
