These Slow-Cooker Shredded Beef Tacos are an easy and flavorful way to enjoy a delicious meal. Perfect for taco night!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Rub the beef with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the seasoned beef in the slow cooker and add beef broth and lime juice.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
  4. Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
  5. Serve the shredded beef in corn tortillas, topped with diced onions and chopped cilantro.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sliced jalapeños to the slow cooker.
  • Feel free to use beef brisket or another cut of beef if preferred.
