A delicious twist on a classic dish featuring creamy pimiento cheese and crispy turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup pimiento cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Slowly whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add the cheddar and pimiento cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in the cooked macaroni and turkey bacon. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, add more cheese to the mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute regular bacon if preferred.
