- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup pimiento cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens.
- Add the cheddar and pimiento cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Stir in the cooked macaroni and turkey bacon. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
