This Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta Skillet is a delicious and easy weeknight meal that’s sure to please the entire family.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound sausage links
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add sausage links and brown on all sides. Remove from skillet and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and crushed red pepper flakes to the skillet, stir to combine.
  5. Return sliced sausage to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  6. Add cooked pasta and spinach, tossing until well combined and spinach is wilted.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, increase the amount of crushed red pepper flakes.
  • This dish can be made with whole wheat or gluten-free pasta.
