Stuffed Italian Bread Boat

An indulgent recipe featuring a delicious stuffed Italian bread boat filled with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 1 Italian bread loaf
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cooked chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the top off the Italian bread loaf and hollow it out, leaving a thick shell.
  3. In a pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken ham, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, garlic, bacon, salt and pepper.
  5. Stuff the mixture into the hollowed bread loaf.
  6. Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add chopped herbs.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
