  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 3 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. Add onions and celery to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs, cooked bacon, sautéed vegetables, thyme, sage, and eggs.
  5. Gradually add chicken broth until the mixture is moist but holds together.
  6. Form the mixture into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
