A delicious and quick recipe for making Bombay Grilled Sandwiches at home.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 large potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon green chutney
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter for spreading
  • 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by mixing mashed potato, onions, chaat masala, and red chili powder.
  2. Spread butter on the bread slices.
  3. Spread chutney on one side of the bread.
  4. Place a generous amount of filling on one slice and top with tomato slices and cheese.
  5. Cover with another slice of bread and grill until golden brown.
  6. Cut into triangles and serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve with ketchup or additional chutney.
