A delicious and creamy pasta bake that combines French onion flavors with tender chicken and savory turkey bacon.

  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, diced
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté the onion until caramelized.
  5. Add the diced chicken to the onions and cook until browned.
  6. Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, thyme, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Combine the cooked pasta, bacon, and creamy mixture in a large baking dish.
  8. Top with shredded cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with mushrooms and use vegetable broth.
