  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form mixture into meatballs and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.
  4. Remove meatballs and set aside. In the same skillet, add beef broth, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and flour. Stir until smooth.
  5. Return meatballs to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve warm over mashed potatoes or pasta.
