  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and sauté until caramelized.
  4. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, thyme, and black pepper.
  5. In a baking dish, layer caramelized onions, then place chicken on top.
