  • 1 cup long-grain white rice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, and sauté until softened.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Slice the smoked sausage and add it to the pot. Cook until browned.
  4. Add the rice and stir to combine with the sausage and vegetables.
  5. Pour in the diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Stir in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked.
